Steph, who first graced the brand’s history as the “original smile” in 1988, has been working alongside Mike and Pat to update the brand, expand product offerings, and strengthen the company’s reach. Mike and Pat bring fresh perspectives on design, operations, and digital strategy, while Steph bridges the brand’s nostalgic roots with modern family and classroom needs.

Together, the three siblings are carrying forward more than just a business; they’re nurturing a family legacy while ensuring Hugg-A-Planet continues to inspire and educate kids around the world.

With this new chapter, the team is updating the brand’s look and reach while staying true to its core values. “Built for Hugging, Designed for Discovery,” the new vision honors the product’s roots as a soft but educational globe pillow—while adapting it for modern families, classrooms, and digital storytellers.
